You are what you eat

Dietitians and nutritionists have this common saying that goes like this, “You are what you eat”. Dr. Gillian McKeith wrote a very popular book titled, You are what you Eat. It became a bestseller and sold over 2 million copies. Apparently, it changed how we think today about food and nutrition.

It is very evident from the obesity spikes that our generation really exemplifies this truth. We are the most obese generation that has ever walked the face of the earth. At least that’s what the experts say. Now the health community has discovered a new disorder called orthorexia.
